She was born and raised in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.Born to an African American father who was a bassist from new Jersey and a third-generation Zainichi Korean mother who was also a professional singer.
For those of you who don’t know what a Zainichi Korean is, people who are Korean (Korean ethnics) residents of Japan.
